‘Poetry on Picture Contest’ is weekly poetry contest for all poets.
Rules
- Poetry should be original and shouldn’t be published anywhere else.
- Poetry should be related to Picture of the contest, otherwise shouldn’t be considered for the contest.
- We will provide a picture every Saturday evening as a topic for poetry and accept entries till next Saturday.
- You can write poem in Hindi or English. If you want to write poem in any other language, you need to also provide Hindi or English translation of the poem.
- The result will be announced by evening of Sunday. Poetry should be either in Hindi or in English.

Criteria for Winner
- Winner will be decided based on quality of poem and comments received by it.
Prize : Gift from Saavan
Submission Procedure
- First, you need to register at Saavan (If you are not already a member of Saavan).
- After registration, click on ‘Write a Poem‘ to publish your poetry.
- Please choose category ‘Poetry on Picture Contest’ while publishing poetry (We will only consider entries with picture of the contest).
Note
- The entry should not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, hate inciting or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
- Poem, once submitted, become the sole property of the Saavan and shall not be returned to any participant thereafter including those disqualified to participate in the contest.
- Every participant is presumed to have expressly undertaken to abide by all the rules and regulations of the competition and the decision taken by the Saavan in respect thereof as final.
